Athena is a dynamic and passionate Financial Advisor helping individuals and small business owners make sound financial decisions for over 13 years. She prides herself on bringing value to all walks of life.

Athena started her career in the insurance and financial business with Bankers Life and Conseco National in 2012 where she laid the foundation for her success through continuous learning, education, and building meaningful relationships. She earned her first designation in Certified Long-Term Care (CLTC^®) in 2013. She excelled in qualifying as the fast-tract unit trainer right after receiving the company honor as a Top-Gun Agent in 2014 and built teams in various satellite offices.

In November 2017, Athena joined New York Life Insurance Company and NYLIFE Securities LLC, furthering her impact in the field. In 2022, she expanded her expertise by affiliating with Eagle Strategies, LLC*. Her pursuit of excellence continued with the achievement of the Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP®) designation, underscoring her commitment to providing top-tier service and expert financial advice.

In 2025, Athena founded SierraEdge Strategic Wealth and Insurance Solutions, dedicated to delivering innovative and comprehensive financial strategies for individuals and business owners. Her mission is clear: to empower her clients and community with the tools and knowledge they need to build secure, brighter futures.

Athena is a six-time qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT®), a global standard of excellence in financial services. She serves as a mentor in the MDRT Academy, a moderator for MDRT’s Book Clubs, and a community leader supporting financial professionals across the United States and Canada. Additionally, she is affiliated with the American Association of Long-Term Care (AALTC) and the Certification for Long-Term Care (CLTC).

Before transitioning to financial services, Athena was a distinguished scientist and adjunct professor. As a trained Bioanalytical Physicist, she possesses a remarkable academic background, holding a BS in Medicinal Chemistry, a BA in Neuroanatomy, an MMed in Pathology & Immunology, and a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Utah.

Outside work, Athena finds balance and inspiration in nature. She enjoys kayaking, tending to her greenhouse, and spending time outdoors, where she cultivates her passion for exploration and growth.
